met someone woo hoo

Well,
Last Sunday Lisa & I met bellydancer & hubby for the first time at Parramatta for coffee.
All i can say is what a lovely, down to earth couple they are :-).
The only downer was the fact that my leg was giving me trouble by the end of our time together & that made me a bit quiet but we had a lovely time.
Hopefully when we organise our D picnic day (possibly at Parra park) we'll have more of our 'select' group (all of which are D & their partners) to show up for a really nice day out :-).
Cheers,
Gray :-)
Back off, my sugar is high, I have a gun & shovel - no one will miss you!

We enjoyed hanging out with you too. You and Lisa (and the kids) were loads of fun. Next time I'll let The Bear bring his Game Boy too- then all of the kids (big and small) can share games while the grown ups talk.

I think that from now on, everyone's calendars are starting to fill up. We should really make a date soon, and give people plenty of notice. It would be great to get a big crowd there. So who wants to choose a date?

OK I'll pick one and start a thread.
Saturday the 21st or Sunday 22nd October. That gives HEAPS of notice.
